Someone once said, "It is indeed ironic that we spend our school days yearning to graduate and our remaining days waxing nostalgic about our school days." *nodnod* Totally agree..... I remember my first few days in high school..... "I can't believe I'm the baby of the school again..... I'll have five more years of this shit......." And now look.... once again one of the *giants* (not literally... I'm actually not that tall *pouts*) of the school... wearing the flash final year jumpers and with only a few more days of high school left....

It's scary really, how time flies... Cliched as it is, it still feels like yesterday that I was walking away from my primary school for the last time, having my grade 6 graduation ceremony, talking with my primary school teachers and principal about coming back for visits (I did go back occasionally ^_^ The place has changed since it merged with another school....) and all that other stuff.....

And now I think I should stop being nostalgic before I end up all depressed... I hate being depressed before going to bed..... I usually wake up in a bad mood if I do (even though I can't wake up on the proverbial "wrong" side of the bed since my bed is in a corner ^^;;;;)

This is a REALLY nice song~!!! Especially coz it's Okui-sama LIVE!! It's one of the songs from Jungle de Ikou.... or so I'm led to believe.... sorta a pop-ballad.... very VERY nice~!! Lotsa sax (I love the sounds a sax makes by the way~!!! *grins* Too bad I'm more of a classical/jazz piano person myself..... not that I'm that good anyway....) and Okui-sama's GREAT voice~!!! Me really really LIKE~!!!

The second Ceres ending~!!! One of the series I definitely am gonna finish once this year is over.... Me like Tooya~!! ^_^ Though I keep expecting to hear Midorikawa Hikaru's voice whenever he talks coz he looks so much like Tama-chan from FY.... But Tooya's voice is MUCH deeper... and I'm not sure that I actually like it.... I'm not sure I like many of the voices in AnC actually... although that could be because I haven't seen too much of it.....

But Tooya's red hair is ultimately cool~!!! ^_^ Well.... that and the fact that he reminds me of a cross between Hori-sama and Tama-chan..........

Me wanna be able to drive~!!! Me wanna practise over the long LONG hols at Christmas.... too bad my trip back to China is only scheduled for three weeks.... *growls* stupid Chinese exam~! Did the UMAT today... or is that yesterday ^^;;; then went to uni... kept falling asleep during the lecture so now I gotta read over all my consolidation of companies notes again about eliminating something or other so I don't double up while counting assets and... yeah... I should stop rambling... *L* It probably doesn't help that it's been the fourth day in a row that I've had a blood nose... bad ones too... -_-;; somehow, I think it's turning into a chronic condition. Not fun....

Although I guess it could be because I really am not getting enough sleep... pulled an all-nighter on sunday night coz I was too stuck into this book. For those of you who love fantasy and politics (surprisingly enough, I do like mild politics in books) and an author who is not afraid to write about darker sides of life, I'd highly recommend Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" series.

The one I'm reading right now is "Blood of the Fold" third in the series, and it's really REALLY good!! I rarely find books this good anymore. Which is a bit of a pity because once I find a good author, I tend to plough through all their books available before moving on... ^^;;; probably a bad habit left over from anime, since I love to just throw myself into a series *LOL* The problem is when you finish that series (or author) and then find out that you haven't yet found anything else as good to watch/read... It's a bit discouraging...

But... I figured that since a month has passed, it was time to switch layouts for Chaos *L* This is getting to be almost a monthly thing... How does the new layout look?? ^_^ I love this piccy of Kamui... he just looks so.... angsty!! And you gotta love the bloody X carved into his shoulder... *L* Or maybe that's just my morbid streak talking.... probably...

Anyhow, this is a switch from my usual black/red combos.... and I gotta say that the black/blue combo works pretty well... But maybe there's just a little bit to clear up about the title. Chaos v1.6 is titled "Beautiful Alone... my love, for the world..." If you actually read the faint words on the above picture, you'll see that it actually talks about giving up love in exchange for something.

*grins* How appropriate.... the X/1999 theme ^_^ If you haven't heard this song, you're missing out on something really good!! And if you haven't heard "Beautiful Alone" by Weiss -- the theme for Chaos v1.6 -- then you must!! It's a really really good song!! ^_^

So anyways, thus "my love, for the world" is actually meant to imply "my love" *in exchange* "for the world" -- as technically that's what Kamui has to do... sacrifice his love for Fuuma and Kotori in order to save the world. It is not meant to imply that Kamui loves the world!! That point is much debatable at the moment... *LOL*

So yes... and I think that my X craze is finally starting to wind down a bit *L* Well... at least until I get new fodder... So Chaos might only be experiencing one or two more X layouts before I move onto something a little less morbid.... or a little more morbid, depending on how you look at it *L* Which series?? That's a secret!! ^_^
